After his playing days his career continued on the managerial front running Manchester City, Sunderland , England Under 21s, Leeds United, Coventry City, Plymouth Argyle and even Mumbai City in the Indian League!
During his career he’s won the FA cup, Division 1 League title and European Cup Winners Cup with Everton and in 1985 was voted 4th in the World Soccer Player of the year behind Platini, Eilgaer, and Diego Maradona!
