The Chepstow and Ffos Las Racing Club horse Baboin delighted his owners when he won at Uttoxeter on Saturday 8th February.
Ridden by Charlie Price, for trainer Tim Vaughan, the six year old gelding took the Best Odds Guaranteed At MansionBet Maiden Hurdle over two miles. The winning distance over Clondaw Promise was a length and a quarter.
It was Baboin’s second appearance in the club’s colours following his debut third place at Lingfield in January. The winning jockey said:”Baboin travelled well and found plenty when I asked him inside the final furlong. I’m sure he’ll stay further too.”
