The Welsh Government’s latest Covid update on December 10th gave no changes to the current guidelines for attending race meetings.
The current rules are that all customers – including racehorse owners – must present a Covid Pass or negative lateral flow test when attending the racecourses at Chepstow, Ffos Las and Bangor.
The only people exempt are under 18s and those personnel working at the fixtures (including trainers and stable staff) and these groups are strongly encouraged to take lateral flow test before arriving the course.
Facemasks are recommended to be worn in crowded or indoor spaces but are not mandatory.
